A new beginning…

After the official announcement was made in June that Nexus Racing would be moving to a new location, the exitement began to build. In the months that followed, updates were few and far between as the crew was busy with the big move. Then slowly but surely the news started pouring in. It started with a few pictures and then a full blown teaser video courtesy of Mike Outlaw of Waltuo productions.

Then came the big announcement that on October 11th the first race would be held. With 12 cars in the 13.5 touring rubber class, 9 1/12th scale stock, 3 Vintage Trans Am, and 3 Touring Mod, it was a great turn out for the first race. There was great racing throughout the day in every class. The racers had to chase constantly changing track conditions due to the new carpet picking up grip. But as expected, most everyone had their cars sorted out by the end of the day. Easilly the most exiting race of the day was in the Touring Mod class between 2 of the Nexus Racing crew: Kumpol and Melvin.
